Biography
When people tell me that I don’t sound like a lawyer… I take that as a compliment. It’s not about keeping appearances or maintaining a façade — it’s about working hard for the things and the people you care about.
We usually don’t think of lawyers as personable or down-to-earth, but Russell Nicolet comes from a family that values authenticity and sacrifice when you genuinely care about something. It’s not about keeping appearances or maintaining a façade — it’s about working hard for the things and the people you care about.
Russell Nicolet has always been focused on helping people through difficult situations. He became an attorney and has integrated this personal philosophy into his practice so that he could help people through some of the most stressful situations they will face in life. Russell’s goal in every case is to help his clients get into a better position than where they were prior to contacting him.
Before he became a lawyer, Russell worked as an intern for the public defender’s office, as a law clerk for a Minnesota judge, and a law clerk for a local attorney. As a young lawyer, Russell would spend hours doing legal research at the Washington County Law Library to give his clients any possible advantage, along with saving them the cost of paying for high-priced legal research programs. These experiences built his knowledge and gave him a unique view of all aspects of what clients may have to deal with a wide range of difficult legal issues.
