Earlier this week, Joey Myers survived an 8-flip rollover crash after losing control of his car in Hollywood, Florida. Myers was on the way to the hospital because he was feeling unwell, when he suffered a seizure while driving. His car flipped at least 8 times, hitting the ground on each flip, leaving behind a mess of debris, before crashing onto the ground.
Good Samaritans rushed to his rescue, one if them even using a fire extinguisher to put out the fires that were igniting. A few other worked together to flip the car after attempting to open the doors, which were wedged shut. After flipping the car, two Samaritans teamed up to pull out Myers through the sun roof.
“After seeing the video, I am shocked I am even here, I am grateful,” said Myers. Miraculously, Joe Myers survived the accident without any broken bones, only being left with scrapes and bruises.
Myers told Good Morning America (GMA) from his hospital room that he wouldn’t have been alive without the rescuers’ help. He also informed GMA that he wouldn’t be driving until doctors figure out what is wrong with him.
“If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t even be here, man,” Myers said as he hugged and thanked his rescuers. Joey even said that his biggest fear was that he could have hurt someone else.
