It is the cover that is provided by your insurance company for any damage done by you in an accident to somebody else’s property (fence, lamp posts, building front etc.) or the other people (including those sitting in another vehicle or pedestrians).
It is mandatory for the drivers to have the minimum Property Damage Liability coverage in place. The coverage limit may differ depending on the state you are driving in. For example, in Texas it is $25,000, Nevada has $10,000 minimum liability coverage amount.
