Some temporary forms of injuries may prevent a person from working at all for a certain amount of time. TTD are also commonly called time loss benefits or wage loss benefits. Due to the temporary nature of the benefit, the benefits seize when the person returns to work.
If an individual persists onto performing partial hours of work during a period of temporary total disability, TPD benefits may also be applicable along with TTD benefits for that individual.
